God Cares Ministries
is dedicated to sharing the Hope that is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The ministry was
founded in 1994 by Mississippi natives, Loyed and Jeanette Walker,
full-time missionaries from Gateway Baptist Church in San Antonio,
Texas.
Loyed, an
ordained pastor, is retired from the U. S. Air Force, where he served in
Europe and Asia. The Walker’s have two grown children and 12
grandchildren.
Over the years,
God Cares Ministries has undertaken numerous building projects,
including church renovations. The ministry is dedicated to helping the
needs of the community, both physically and spiritually, and is willing
to follow where ever the Lord leads us. Although we are small in size,
our hearts and dedication to the Lord is immense. We will continue to
bring the Gospel to those whom the Lord has placed in our paths.
